Dadá Maravilha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mike Axisa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dadá Maravilha got free with Mike Axisa in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sliema Dragons FC's Pepe Ferreira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gary Ayala in the 26 minute of the game. Sliema Dragons FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giovanni Demicoli in the 29th minute. The corner led Sliema Dragons FC's Giovanni Demicoli to fire away a dangerous shot which CJ Buffon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Oberrauch in the 39th minute of play forced Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Mike Axisa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leszek Cupial hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Sliema Dragons FC were awarded a corner. Giovanni Demicoli went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of FC Barrera 2.0 booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gábor Illés didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Kim Bolas made the kick off in the second half. Agnaldo Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Mike Axisa came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Barrera 2.0's Dadá Maravilha. But to his dismay, Dadá Maravilha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Dadá Maravilha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mike Axisa was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Dadá Maravilha notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Axisa. Mike Axisa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Barrera 2.0's Cacey Sharp was substituted for Dadá Maravilha. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Dejan Cassar replaced Kim Bolas. Cacey Sharp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mike Axisa having to make a save. Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Axisa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacey Sharp in the 76th minute of play. Silvio Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
