With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erkut Cenan in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bolo Skjold saved Protegéerna from getting behind. Lyle Flanagan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jakob Lundin in the 8th minute. With a little luck, F.C internazionale's Lyle Flanagan got control of the ball when Petter Skarkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lyle Flanagan. F.C internazionale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petter Skarkman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. F.C internazionale's Lyle Flanagan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save F.C internazionale from getting a goal against them. Arman Lingren kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Erkut Cenan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bolo Skjold having to make a save. Bolo Skjold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erkut Cenan in the 32nd minute of play. Ulrik Söderlund took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lyle Flanagan. Lyle Flanagan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Lyle Flanagan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Skarkman in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Erkut Cenan notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold. Bolo Skjold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jakob Lundin came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lyle Flanagan could save by the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erkut Cenan made a kick off. When Petter Skarkman came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Protegéerna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petter Skarkman couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Lundin in the 57th minute of play forced F.C internazionale's goalkeeper Lyle Flanagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, F.C internazionale's Erkut Cenan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bolo Skjold. Bolo Skjold yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Bolo Skjold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erkut Cenan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the F.C internazionale defense, Petter Skarkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lyle Flanagan. The F.C internazionale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lyle Flanagan should have stopped the shot. Erkut Cenan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bolo Skjold having to interfere.
