Matías Patrone made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Bilge Kağan Samih sent off a good shot on target. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Los Delfines from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bilge Kağan Samih was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Bilge Kağan Samih managed to get in a good position for a shot. Supremacy Catania FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bilge Kağan Samih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matías Patrone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los Delfines made a substitution. Oliver Bierhoff replaced Arquímedes Cesario. Bai Kun De made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bai Kun De saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oliver Bierhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Supremacy Catania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Bai Kun De reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
