Inter de Chillán:s Anton Björnberg showed great skill when he stopped Äliqulu Vermäliyev:s penalty. FC Aquile Azzurre's Sabin Pânzaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vatan Enfal in the 11th minute of play. Yuan Xiong kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Bel Cross came free, but Anton Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Sotta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 30 minutes into the game, Carlo Borgatello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Anton Björnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute Vatan Enfal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Pânzaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vatan Enfal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vatan Enfal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabin Pânzaru having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Sabin Pânzaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Abel. Inter de Chillán made a substitution. Rickard Erserman replaced Vatan Enfal. Inter de Chillán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobías Izamit in the 66th minute. After taking down the ball on Inter de Chillán's corner Rickard Erserman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sabin Pânzaru quite easily take care of the ball. Sabin Pânzaru made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Samuel Abel sent off a good shot on target. After 71 minutes, Samuel Abel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter de Chillán and the FC Aquile Azzurre players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Aquile Azzurre booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Abel didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinç Dede in the 86th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute FC Aquile Azzurre were awarded a corner. Alfons Bagge went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Inter de Chillán's goalie and right to Äliqulu Vermäliyev. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Inter de Chillán's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Marcel Wassermayer hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Marcel Wassermayer charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Wassermayer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Marcel Wassermayer hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Dinç Dede left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Aquile Azzurre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. FC Aquile Azzurre were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Inter de Chillán for a fine match.
