Slaveyko Neev's shot from long distance in the 26th minute was not bad at all, but Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Gui Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Elg in the 27th minute of the match. Eric Soned showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wieslaw Szkaradek, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Gui Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nickolai Nickerson in the 42nd minute of the match. Eric Soned showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slaveyko Neev in the 44th minute of the match. Gui Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Möllgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wieslaw Szkaradek made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Gui Almeida successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 58 played minutes Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a freekick which was hit by Nickolai Nickerson. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Per-Arne Gunnarsson was substituted for Rei Bolas. The supporters of Chinho FC booed when Étoile Sportive Du Sahel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nickolai Nickerson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Wieslaw Szkaradek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Soned was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chinho FC reached it. Eric Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Senin in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Călin Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Soned saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a corner. Chinho FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jim Njurenius ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Nickolai Nickerson to fire away a dangerous shot which Gui Almeida despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 88th minute, Wiliam Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Étoile Sportive Du Sahel defense, Slaveyko Neev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Soned. The Étoile Sportive Du Sahel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Soned should have stopped the shot.
