With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jared Wolfman in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jo Øverås saved Daustad from getting behind. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Daustad's Luis Bonet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilles Eekhout narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Milan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mats Bentsen was slow to take the kick. During this time Daustad's players had a chance to rest. In the 27th minute, Pablo Escobar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Gilles Eekhout managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Daustad's Pelle Anundsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
