The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AMERICAN BARÇA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Germano Bettencourt was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC FUSION's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Germano Bettencourt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alejandro Verdu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesc Pla in the 19th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Joan Puig got a free kick in the 25th minute. Alejandro Verdu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Bubu Denat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Roberto Eztebe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC FUSION were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Germano Bettencourt took the corner. A hard shot 41 in the game by Lino Rios from a close distance when the talented Alejandro Verdu managed to make a qualified save. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's players were relieved. Alejandro Verdu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Txindoki, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Lino Rios made the kick off in the second half. Lino Rios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejandro Verdu having to make a save. After having played for 52 minutes, Bubu Denat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bubu Denat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejandro Verdu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dawid Beckham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejandro Verdu having to make a save. In the 64th match minute, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bubu Denat to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Alejandro Verdu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Eztebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bubu Denat in the 68th minute. Alejandro Verdu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 69th minute of play. Alejandro Verdu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Rios went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesc Pla got free with Roberto Eztebe in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Aureliano Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alejandro Verdu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Boye didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Eztebe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Zanetti went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
