Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AC LeX Luthor's Silvestre Semeno got a free kick in the 14th minute. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Oliviero in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Silvestre Semeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, AC LeX Luthor's Isidro Oliviero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Eztebe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Roberto Eztebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Errando in the 28th minute. If Isidro Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC FUSION's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alvaro Errando was slow to take the kick. During this time AC LeX Luthor's players had a chance to rest. Alvaro Errando was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Roberto Eztebe made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Isidro Oliviero sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when AFC FUSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Abilio didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Rios to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Silvestre Semeno threw the ball into play from the sideline. AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 57 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Eztebe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Errando went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. AC LeX Luthor's Pancho Branca was substituted for Alvaro Errando. AC LeX Luthor's Karl-Axel Kielstedt was substituted for Best Ibland. 68 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Eztebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Peep Pronk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Eztebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoff Stocks, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Peep Pronk made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Eztebe. AFC FUSION's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Julian Boni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save AC LeX Luthor from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC LeX Luthor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Thiago Silva shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Karl-Axel Kielstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AFC FUSION's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
