Zisis Vourlis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Arif Çelebi Ergener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zisis Vourlis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Πυργετός Fc's Valer Trifu got a free kick in the 30th minute. Zisis Vourlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 35th minute of play. In the 44th minute Arif Çelebi Ergener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zisis Vourlis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

After 50 played minutes Tours Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Antonin Couget. After 53 played minutes Πυργετός Fc got a freekick which was hit by Justin Groth. The supporters of Tours Football Club booed when Πυργετός Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wit Zapolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Πυργετός Fc defense, Faustin Hamet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zisis Vourlis. The Πυργετός Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zisis Vourlis should have stopped the shot. Tours Football Club made a substitution. Cyrille Jenny replaced Arif Çelebi Ergener. Zisis Vourlis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After having played for 89 minutes, Faustin Hamet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tours Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustin Hamet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Tours Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim-André Van Landschoot to maneuver through the defense. Lech Blochowiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Zapolski in the 93rd minute of play. Tours Football Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
