The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Roch Grondzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Rostholm in the 6th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Oscar Giraldo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nichlas Vesterdahl. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 15th match minute, Randers A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Børge Buhr to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Giraldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Nichlas Vesterdahl made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Oscar Giraldo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nichlas Vesterdahl, 3-0. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Roch Grondzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Børge Buhr in the 26th minute of play. Rene Rostholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roch Grondzki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Rostholm ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute, Oscar Giraldo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nichlas Vesterdahl. The goal made the score 4-0. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Roch Grondzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Rostholm in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Randers A.F.C. booed when SMOCZANKA MIELEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmo Munhoz during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes SMOCZANKA MIELEC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo Munhoz. After 46 played minutes SMOCZANKA MIELEC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Oinaz. Rodrigo Tome scored 4-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roch Grondzki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Rostholm to make the kick off. Rene Rostholm struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Roch Grondzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Randers A.F.C.. In the 66th minute, Rene Rostholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Randers A.F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Nichlas Vesterdahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Randers A.F.C. made a substitution. Grisha Mbappè replaced Rene Rostholm. Oscar Giraldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Arthur Shelby recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roch Grondzki. Arthur Shelby showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. In the 86th minute, Oscar Giraldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nichlas Vesterdahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Randers A.F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SMOCZANKA MIELEC.
