When Algitas Girkantas came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Absoliut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Algitas Girkantas couldn't finish the play. Robertas Sabaitis made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Wit Zapolski sent off a good shot on target. Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zisis Vourlis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wit Zapolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Robertas Sabaitis made a huge save. 29 minutes into the game, Ilias Gouziotis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Πυργετός Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Absoliut the free kick. After 29 played minutes Πυργετός Fc got a freekick which was hit by Ilias Gouziotis. The referee ignored Πυργετός Fc's protests and gave Justin Groth a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Absoliut booed when Πυργετός Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justin Groth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Absoliut's Robertas Sabaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Zapolski in the 42nd minute of play. If Wit Zapolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the match, Absoliut's goalkeeper Robertas Sabaitis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wit Zapolski. Algitas Girkantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Zisis Vourlis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Zisis Vourlis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
