Fumo Canuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Dudkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A hard shot 46 in the game by Jose Heredia from a close distance when the talented Zbigniew Glapiak managed to make a qualified save. Mafia Koniaka's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Heredia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Liberto Guasch's late challenge caught a Mafia Koniaka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liberto Guasch helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Downchester City got a freekick which was hit by Liberto Guasch. After a rather tough play, Downchester City's Liberto Guasch got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 91st match minute, Mafia Koniaka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslaw Chwalkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Beila Marcilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Downchester City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
