The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to FC Dwa Do Ósmej getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Mike Grabner hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Fotis Katramados made a precise shot to the right of Roman Vachon. Manfredi AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manfredi AFC's goalkeeper Roman Vachon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 28 minutes of play, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Fotis Katramados made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Vachon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fotis Katramados recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 played minutes FC Dwa Do Ósmej got a freekick which was hit by Mike Grabner. After the first half FC Dwa Do Ósmej were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filomeno Remir was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the FC Dwa Do Ósmej defense, Filomeno Remir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franciszek Lerych. The FC Dwa Do Ósmej fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franciszek Lerych should have stopped the shot. Filomeno Remir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franciszek Lerych read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Manfredi AFC made a substitution. Ladislao Mannie replaced Aristides Cesaro. Manfredi AFC's Ronald Ferenc was substituted for Guido Mikolas. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Dwa Do Ósmej's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kieran Listkowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Manfredi AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ladislao Mannie almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Franciszek Lerych did a great save. After some careless play in the FC Dwa Do Ósmej defense, Ladislao Mannie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franciszek Lerych. The FC Dwa Do Ósmej fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franciszek Lerych should have stopped the shot. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Lucas Rodriguez was substituted for Karl-Ove Hägert. An unexpectedly hard shot by Son Banana in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Dwa Do Ósmej's goalkeeper Franciszek Lerych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arkadiusz Solibieda got free with Roman Vachon in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Son Banana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franciszek Lerych was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 84th minute Ladislao Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Lerych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Wendell Amos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manfredi AFC the free kick. Wendell Amos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Franciszek Lerych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Mannie in the 91st minute of play. Franciszek Lerych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Ferenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The FC Dwa Do Ósmej supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Dwa Do Ósmej would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
