The audience thought a goal was coming when Norbert Major got free with Xie Bang Ang in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xie Bang Ang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Major in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Robert Haegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Norbert Major got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Haegg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Haegg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 90 minutes of play, Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xie Bang Ang was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th match minute, Pogoń Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manos Trachanas to maneuver through the defense. Pogoń Szczecin's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
