After 20 minutes of play, Les Tigres's Leonardo Tipi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariusz Komornicki was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Winnie Winger got a free kick in the 31st minute. Les Tigres's Sermet Erva got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Arnaldo Basajaun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gonzo Maradona. The goal made the score 2-1. After a rather tough play, Les Tigres's Severino Estevez got a free kick in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Armağan Yörük managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters rose to their feet, but Armağan Yörük was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzo Maradona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Les Tigres's Edvard Võsandi was substituted for Sermet Erva. Les Tigres's Ömer-Asaf Güneş was substituted for Leonardo Tipi. The wind increased when Arnaldo Basajaun made the kick off in the second half. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Mariusz Komornicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Võsandi in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59th minute Ömer-Asaf Güneş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Komornicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Les Tigres were awarded a corner. Severino Estevez went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Enzo Vezin at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE. 2-2. Severino Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Komornicki having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Edvard Võsandi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariusz Komornicki was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Gonzo Maradona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Basajaun in the 76th minute of the match. Gonzo Maradona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Arnaldo Basajaun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonzo Maradona having to make a save. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Vivaldo de Toledo was substituted for Arnaldo Basajaun. After 95 played minutes, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Evandro Senna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gonzo Maradona came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE reached it. Rodrigo Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Meireles came free, but Gonzo Maradona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Les Tigres walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
