When Augusto Estefan came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the CRUZ DEL SUR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Estefan couldn't finish the play. Yunus-Emre Balcik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Estefan in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İrfan Altıncığlu in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. CRUZ DEL SUR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gilen Zabalo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CRUZ DEL SUR's goalie and right to Franc Debuire. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CRUZ DEL SUR's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 35th minute of the game Pablo Soto made a throw-in which Augusto Estefan played forward. After 36 minutes of play, CRUZ DEL SUR's Ronnie Odell made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yunus-Emre Balcik was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by İrfan Altıncığlu in the 40th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Zachariasz Dudkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Estefan to make the kick off. CRUZ DEL SUR's attentive Artaç Yavuzalp managed to snatch the ball when Franc Debuire made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Augusto Estefans short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Yunus-Emre Balcik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 59 minutes into the match, Augusto Estefan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yunus-Emre Balcik. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CRUZ DEL SUR would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
