They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pindorama Eagles:s goal. Thibaut Courtois had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Frits van Gaal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 56 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thibaut Courtois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ştefan Magheran got free with Thibaut Courtois in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
