The audience thought a goal was coming when Ni Jun Liang got free with Jude Crocker in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ladislao Gines scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shi Guo Wen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Gines in the 42nd minute of play forced En avant de guingamp's goalkeeper Shi Guo Wen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shi Guo Wen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leevi Kampman, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With his leg Shi Guo Wen managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Creekers's Riley Trotter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. En avant de guingamp's Shi Guo Wen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riley Trotter in the 56th minute of play. Xu Xing Ming fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Crocker having to interfere. With a little luck, En avant de guingamp's Shi Guo Wen got control of the ball when Riley Trotter tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Ni Jun Liang notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Creekers's Jude Crocker.
