Paolo Evis spun around in front of the goal 72 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Creekers's goal. Sergen Şahbender hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Gines in the 76th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Creekers's Jude Crocker got control of the ball when Abdulla Baia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Creekers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
