Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ripa FC from getting a goal against them. Aldo Mannie made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Carlos Eufrasio sent off a good shot on target. Cirilo Ritchie took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Mannie. Aldo Mannie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Aldo Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cirilo Ritchie made a kick off. A collision led to Ripa FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Smith Wigglesworth hit a great ball. Ripa FC's Franz Grassme was substituted for Gu Chang Peng. Ripa FC's Placido Pero was substituted for Alvaro Jakes. Arrecifes's Felipe Senon was substituted for Cirilo Ritchie. Smith Wigglesworth hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Placido Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 82 in the game by Placido Pero from a close distance when the talented Arif Ozan Oğuztan managed to make a qualified save. Arrecifes's players were relieved. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arrecifes's Arif Ozan Oğuztan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 86th minute of play. Arif Ozan Oğuztan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Grassme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arif Ozan Oğuztan was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Placido Pero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Placido Pero really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
