After 15 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Xavies Casavela. With a little luck, Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar got control of the ball when Gwidon Arnista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Fransson in the 25th minute of play. Marian Gniech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maureen Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gwidon Arnista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Horquizar having to interfere. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Juan Sartori hit a great ball. Zagórna's Marian Gniech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maureen Franco in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Åke Fransson got free with Maximo Horquizar in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Buceo from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Zagórna's Jan-Åke Fransson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximo Horquizar. That made the score 1-0 after 46 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gwidon Arnista to strike the kick off in the second half. Maximo Horquizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Arnista, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Marian Gniech made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Maureen Franco sent off a good shot on target. Zagórna's Marian Gniech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Zagórna from getting a goal against them. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Arnista in the 59th minute of play. Maureen Franco made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 62ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Marian Gniech would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Maximo Horquizar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sporting Buceo's Charly Good was substituted for Maureen Franco. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Xinto Carreiras replaced Charly Good. Zagórna's Jaroslaw Milko was substituted for Gwidon Arnista. Zagórna's Ziemowit Soszka was substituted for Tomás Figueroa. Zagórna's Marian Gniech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Zagórna from getting a goal against them. Yao Yan Sen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xinto Carreiras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marian Gniech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Sporting Buceo were awarded a corner. Xinto Carreiras went to the cornerflag to take it. Duro Back made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Xinto Carreiras immediately put the ball in play. Marian Gniech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charly Good in the 96th minute. Sporting Buceo's Xinto Carreiras managed to work through Zagórna's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Xinto Carreiras dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Sporting Buceo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
