Ferenc Tököli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavies Casavela's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Ferenc Tököli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xavies Casavela went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorrin Briones in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maureen Franco in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferenc Tököli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Xavies Casavela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes, Sporting Buceo's Xavies Casavela shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Buceo reached it. In the 47th minute, Rainier Gregoire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Maximo Horquizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerrold Taranco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Salah in the 95th minute of play. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
