In the 3rd minute Uwe Birmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Horquizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuralp Akbal in the 6th minute of play. Pagos FC were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Sporting Buceo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Francisco Montae took the corner. After 14 minutes of play, Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Campens was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting Buceo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Francisco Montae was slow to take the kick. During this time Pagos FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Francisco Montae almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar did a great save. A collision led to Pagos FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ionel Mirea hit a great ball. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uwe Birmes in the 26th minute of play. In the 35th minute Nuralp Akbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Horquizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nuralp Akbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pagos FC's Manuel Campens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Sartori in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Bordat Vidania hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Pagos FC made a substitution. Mjölnir Martelo replaced Uwe Birmes. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Jakue was the one to do the kick off. Maximo Horquizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuralp Akbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pagos FC's goalkeeper Manuel Campens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Filimon Gamburtsev made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Campens. After 79 minutes Sporting Buceo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Francisco Montae who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Francisco Montae almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar did a great save. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Bartzokas in the 81st minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Christos Bartzokas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximo Horquizar. Sporting Buceo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christos Bartzokas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Christos Bartzokas took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximo Horquizar. In the 88thth minute of the game Sergio Rengifo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pagos FC's Manuel Campens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Mirea in the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Christos Bartzokas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 minutes, Filcho Kordov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Buceo and the Pagos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Filcho Kordov hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
