After the first half Barcellos Mineiro FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
After a defensive mix-up in Barcellos Mineiro FC's zone, Cirilo Ritchie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Ugutz came out of the goal and Cirilo Ritchie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dale Dolar took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arif Ozan Oğuztan. Arif Ozan Oğuztan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 61st minute, Eliézer de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliézer de Carvalho hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Senon came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dale Dolar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Senon in the 78th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Jorge Carrascal replaced Dale Dolar. In the 91st minute of the match Arrecifes got a corner. Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Modesto Gipuzkoa ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barcellos Mineiro FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
