The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jack Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Batistuta in the 3rd minute of the match. If Markus Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Markus Svensson got free with Glenn Fyfe in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Glenn Fyfe stood somewhat misplaced when Markus Svensson came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 8 minute. 15 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Södertälje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A4p FC Gad the free kick. After a rather tough play, Real Södertälje's Reynaldo Cerezo got a free kick in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markus Svensson. In the 24th minute Real Södertälje were awarded a corner. Reynaldo Cerezo went to the cornerflag to take it. Jack Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Glanselius came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by A4p FC Gad's James Batistuta. But to his dismay, James Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Del Piero in the 40th minute of play forced Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Jack Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Batistuta in the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's Iulian Berceanu got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Markus Svensson made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Scorpio in the 52nd minute of play forced Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Jack Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Scorpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A4p FC Gad's Flavius Cândroveanu was substituted for Alessandro Del Piero. Real Södertälje made a substitution. Rikard Wolff replaced Urki Regalado. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by 邱振广 with Iulian Berceanu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jack Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Batistuta in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute Rikard Wolff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikard Wolff in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match, James Batistuta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jack Glanselius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Glenn Fyfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Wolff, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Real Södertälje's goal looked a bit too open when James Batistuta came free, but Jack Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc was substituted for James Batistuta. A4p FC Gad's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcin Pachucki in the 89th minute. A4p FC Gad's Marcin Pachucki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jack Glanselius in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Glenn Fyfe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Hedberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Hedberg in the 92nd minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Gică Busuioc dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jack Glanselius, 1-4. A4p FC Gad's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
