In the 45th minute, Zachariasz Sitko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Siöberg in the 92nd minute of play. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Siöberg in the 95th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Ivar Siöberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicasio Abad, 0-1. The Wargön supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wargön would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
