David Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romão Mourato in the 6th minute of play. David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Piedrahita, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Roneros F.C.'s Romão Mourato in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalie prevented a goal. After 10 minutes Chinese CJ Youth Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cordero Aberasturi who took care of the corner kick. 13 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Romão Mourato came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Orling in the 15th minute of play forced Roneros F.C.'s goalkeeper Ricardo Ceberiche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Roneros F.C.'s Carlos Gardel got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Günther Doty shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Ceberiche showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th minute of the match, Washington Piedrahita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Abad saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ricardo Ceberiche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Günther Doty's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Witomir Jestrimski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Ceberiche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Su Jian Jie in the 31st minute of the match. Witomir Jestrimski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but David Abad made a huge save. In the 37th minute Roneros F.C. were awarded a corner. Cordero Aberasturi went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Roneros F.C.'s corner Cordero Aberasturi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Abad quite easily take care of the ball. David Abad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Witomir Jestrimski in the 39th minute. After 45 played minutes Roneros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Classon. Mattias Classon hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Witomir Jestrimski made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s Washington Piedrahita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Abad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roneros F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cordero Aberasturi in the 52nd minute. The corner led Roneros F.C.'s Cordero Aberasturi to fire away a dangerous shot which David Abad despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roneros F.C.'s Zilar Aleson was substituted for Witomir Jestrimski. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ke Yin, made in the 58th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Su Jian Jie got a free kick in the 61st minute. Roneros F.C. made a substitution. Alejandro Espina replaced Romão Mourato. Su Jian Jie kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Pontus Picado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Abad having to make a save. Günther Doty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ricardo Ceberiche made a huge save. If Günther Doty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute Günther Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Ceberiche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Chinese CJ Youth Academy defense, Pontus Picado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Abad. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Abad should have stopped the shot. David Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pontus Picado in the 84th minute of the match. Roneros F.C.'s Zilar Aleson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Abad in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ricardo Ceberiche made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Günther Doty sent off a good shot on target. If Zilar Aleson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pontus Picado, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Pontus Picado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Abad. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pontus Picado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
