The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Veronica got free with Scarafia Ghost in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BK Gubbhöft's Isaac Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Amorebieta in the 11th minute of play. Scarafia Ghost made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Ahlin in the 16th minute. Go Ahead Eagles's Scarafia Ghost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Blue in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Blue in the 19th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Scarafia Ghost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scarafia Ghost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Veronica in the 23rd minute of the match. BK Gubbhöft were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Go Ahead Eagles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Incendio took the corner. In the 27th minute, Kajetan Drugi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fernando Amorebieta came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Go Ahead Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Amorebieta couldn't finish the play. Jonas Ahlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Scarafia Ghost made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Amorebieta in the 32nd minute of play forced BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper Isaac Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Grigore Mălaimare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Jonas Ahlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Scarafia Ghost was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 41st minute of the match, Jonas Ahlin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Scarafia Ghost was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Erling Lewandowski scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaac Jonasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Veronica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Scarafia Ghost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Incendio in the 54th minute of the match. Scarafia Ghost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Ahlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Go Ahead Eagles made a substitution. Iustin Bâru replaced Erling Lewandowski. BK Gubbhöft made a substitution. Sten Hydén replaced Jonas Ahlin. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Go Ahead Eagles's goalie and right to Ove Salkvist. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Go Ahead Eagles's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 67th minute, Simone Panetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match, Iustin Bâru got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isaac Jonasson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Merih Yesari made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by BK Gubbhöft's Ciro Incendio. Ove Salkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Scarafia Ghost. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ove Salkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Go Ahead Eagles's Scarafia Ghost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Salkvist in the 70th minute of play. Isaac Jonasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustin Bâru's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper Isaac Jonasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iustin Bâru. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Salkvist in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Scarafia Ghost saved Go Ahead Eagles from getting behind. 80 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Scarafia Ghost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Salkvist in the 85th minute of play. Fernando Amorebieta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Jonasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Ove Salkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Scarafia Ghost. Go Ahead Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ove Salkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. BK Gubbhöft's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
