Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Tino in the 4th minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Velasco came free, but Ivan Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Bienienda came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 6 in the game by Stasio Bienienda from a close distance when the talented Fernando Selatse managed to make a qualified save. Despidida AFC's players were relieved. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Stasio Bienienda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zhao Sen Yang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Selatse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Despidida AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stasio Bienienda took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Stasio Bienienda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernando Selatse quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlhami Akyazıcı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner. Stasio Bienienda went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27thth minute of the game Dinu Ivănescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27th play minutes Emiliano Velasco shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ivan Chiuzbaian and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 32nd minute Despidida AFC were awarded a corner. Emanuel Lucila went to the cornerflag to take it. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The corner led to Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Emiliano Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Chiuzbaian. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

The wind increased when Emiliano Velasco made the kick off in the second half. When Zhao Sen Yang came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhao Sen Yang couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinu Ivănescu. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Michael Corleone got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, Zhao Sen Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Selatse. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Selatse should have stopped the shot. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Kajetan Gdowik replaced Pastor Tino. Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond was substituted for Emiliano Velasco. If İlhami Akyazıcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lucila ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Oliver Rizzo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ivan Chiuzbaian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 79 minutes into the game, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Alvaro Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, Zhao Sen Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Selatse. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Selatse should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Zhao Sen Yang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Mugurel Pandele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 96th minute of the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
