Güray Orcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Salkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in BK Gubbhöft's zone, Francesc Tamari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Jonasson came out of the goal and Francesc Tamari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Hautot to make the kick off. BK Gubbhöft's Isaac Jonasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save BK Gubbhöft from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute Ciro Incendio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güray Orcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güray Orcan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ove Salkvist went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.
