Wilhelm Galle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Amorebieta went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Zhuo Ke Le came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Kind of Blue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhuo Ke Le couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Sebastian Käller made a precise shot to the right of Scarafia Ghost. Go Ahead Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Go Ahead Eagles's Scarafia Ghost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 20th minute of play. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Bot in the 25th minute of play. Kind of Blue's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joacim Hansson in the 28th minute. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Lewandowski in the 29th minute of play. Wilhelm Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Bot in the 30th minute of play. Wilhelm Galle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Lewandowski in the 34th minute of the match. Grigore Mălaimare made in the 36th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fernando Amorebieta however managed to control. In the 38th minute, Sebastian Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Scarafia Ghost was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Facundo Bots short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Wilhelm Galle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Go Ahead Eagles:s Scarafia Ghost showed great skill when he stopped Sebastian Käller:s penalty.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Käller to strike the kick off in the second half. Scarafia Ghost made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Käller in the 54th minute. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Go Ahead Eagles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joacim Hansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Kind of Blue's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Käller in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Scarafia Ghost saved Go Ahead Eagles from getting behind. Go Ahead Eagles's Panos Karagoutis was substituted for Grigore Mălaimare. Go Ahead Eagles's Iustin Bâru was substituted for Merih Yesari. Kind of Blue's attentive Epifanio Aznar managed to snatch the ball when Iakovos Efthimiadis made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Bot came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Amorebieta hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Sebastian Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Scarafia Ghost. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Go Ahead Eagles's Scarafia Ghost got control of the ball when Sebastian Käller tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Scarafia Ghost narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Giorgos Kontodimos made a precise shot to the right of Wilhelm Galle. Kind of Blue's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Bot in the 80th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Scarafia Ghost. That made the score 2-4 after 83 minutes of play. Sebastian Källers short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Scarafia Ghost to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wilhelm Galle came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Go Ahead Eagles's Giorgos Kontodimos. But to his dismay, Giorgos Kontodimos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Scarafia Ghost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Högman in the 92nd minute of play. Sebastian Käller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Käller struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Scarafia Ghost didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kind of Blue. The Kind of Blue players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
