Nemesio Fix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes of play, Los Matadores's Alfredo Derwin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Armstrong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eloy Bittor made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Peter Linkhorst sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th match minute, Los Matadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Lorencio to maneuver through the defense. In the 41stth minute of the game Peter Linkhorst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Matadores's Eloy Bittor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eloy Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Ununger in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Linkhorst to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrick Armstrong was a little too slow when Alfredo Derwin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-5. Eloy Bittor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Våleman, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd match minute, Los Matadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Evis to maneuver through the defense. Los Matadores's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
