Akis Remoundos charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Akis Remoundos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Macaco F.C. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Akis Remoundos hit a great ball. Jorge Campos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacarias Satordi in the 14th minute. Jorge Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Lixandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With an all-out effort, AKDmicos FC's Jorge Campos threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bonifacio Lixandro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bonifacio Lixandro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, AKDmicos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ingars Miders came free, but Gabriel Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match, Andrzej Zawaski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jorge Campos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zacarias Satordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jorge Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Zacarias Satordi could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Jorge Campos however easily saved by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Pedro Prestes made a kick off. Andrzej Zawaski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 minutes of play, AKDmicos FC's Niceto Senon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Campos was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Macaco F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AKDmicos FC.
