The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clayton Gerada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Nasuti, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 10th minute Paul Montebello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nofre Amorebieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clayton Gerada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Nasuti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Cassar Overend made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ezber Bozan FK's Bahattin Pektürk. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Alvise Nasuti sped through Seraċini Għawdxin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clayton Gerada. The supporters of Seraċini Għawdxin booed when Ezber Bozan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahattin Pektürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clayton Gerada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvise Nasuti's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Alvise Nasuti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clayton Gerada came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvise Nasuti slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Ezber Bozan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Miggiani came free, but Nofre Amorebieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clayton Gerada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Nasuti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezber Bozan FK's Nofre Amorebieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Miggiani in the 39th minute of play. Clayton Gerada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Nasuti in the 42nd minute of play.

In the 52nd minute Alvise Nasuti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clayton Gerada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezber Bozan FK's Onur Ali Şen was substituted for Domenik de Vos. Alvise Nasuti kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Ezber Bozan FK's Alvise Nasuti in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rafa Marin replaced Desmond Hume. Joseph Bruno made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Michael Cassar Overend immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrew Miggiani got free with Nofre Amorebieta in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute Onur Ali Şen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clayton Gerada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Alvise Nasuti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Ezber Bozan FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
