Głodni z Natury 21's Cayetano Haitz got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 3 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Haitz came free, but Clayton Gerada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Angelo Trigona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edmund Wieloch, 1-0. Robert Seychell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmund Wieloch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Clayton Gerada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seraċini Għawdxin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ziemowit Wielkopolski was slow to take the kick. During this time Głodni z Natury 21's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Rob Lewandowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clayton Gerada was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Cayetano Haitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clayton Gerada. Seraċini Għawdxin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cayetano Haitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Głodni z Natury 21's Edmund Wieloch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Głodni z Natury 21 from getting a goal against them. Edmund Wieloch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Seychell in the 30th minute of the match. Seraċini Għawdxin's Clayton Gerada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Haitz in the 32nd minute of play. Clayton Gerada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cayetano Haitz went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Rob Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Roderick Gordon fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seraċini Għawdxin's protests and gave Roderick Gordon a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Seraċini Għawdxin got a freekick which was hit by Roderick Gordon. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rob Lewandowski in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clayton Gerada saved Seraċini Għawdxin from getting behind. After 49 minutes Seraċini Għawdxin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ziemowit Wielkopolski who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Głodni z Natury 21's Ziemowit Wielkopolski to fire away a dangerous shot which Clayton Gerada despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrew Miggiani in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmund Wieloch saved Głodni z Natury 21 from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Cayetano Haitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Głodni z Natury 21's Rob Lewandowski got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Edmund Wieloch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Trigona, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Clayton Gerada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Haitz struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Clayton Gerada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Głodni z Natury 21. Moises Nesor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Clayton Gerada made a huge save. 73 minutes into the game, Cayetano Haitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Clayton Gerada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Nesor got free with Clayton Gerada in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmund Wieloch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Trigona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Głodni z Natury 21 defense, Andrew Miggiani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmund Wieloch. The Głodni z Natury 21 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmund Wieloch should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Angelo Trigona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seraċini Għawdxin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Głodni z Natury 21 the free kick. In the 84th minute, Angelo Trigona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was a well-played corner which Heiko Seedorf managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Moises Nesor took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Clayton Gerada to make any attempt to save it. Głodni z Natury 21's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
