Atlético Grau Piura's Tartalo Delatorre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Song Xiong Hong in the 37th minute of play. Roberto Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tartalo Delatorre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Lopes to make the kick off. Fabian Oterino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chico Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Oterino in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chico Donato saved DIPLOMATA FC PAB from getting behind. In the 60thth minute of the game Fabian Oterino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabian Oterino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
