Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Eyüp Eyüpoğlu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Achim Ustorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Achim Ustorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eyüp Eyüpoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Patrzek charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Patrzek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Villip's Felix Patrzek got a free kick in the 33rd minute. SC Villip's Sascha Heinold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Nihat Vargın in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind kutlucafc's goalkeeper Eyüp Eyüpoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, Achim Ustorf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Villip's supporters crossed their fingers, but Achim Ustorf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph Torkuhl got free with Eyüp Eyüpoğlu in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Achim Ustorf was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, SC Villip's Sascha Heinold got control of the ball when Bayhan Durualp tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Arif Nihat Vargın came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the kutlucafc fans jumped to their feet. Sascha Heinold was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bayhan Durualp showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 85 minute of play. The kutlucafc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing kutlucafc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
