The player immediately received a yellow card. Alvin Bohlin hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Viktor Qvarnström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Seck in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Norrlands Athen U23 booed when Bachleiten FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horst-Peter Nussbaum didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match, Joacim Pålsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Darius Breitenbach saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Georg Seck came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Bachleiten FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Seck couldn't finish the play. If Georg Seck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joacim Pålsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joschka Piater received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Viktor Qvarnström came out and tried to block the shot, but Joschka Piater slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 54th minute. Joschka Piaters short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Viktor Qvarnström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 60th minute, Joschka Piater got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Norrlands Athen U23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Dalgren to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Qvarnström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joschka Piater in the 65th minute. If Joacim Pålsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Norrlands Athen U23. 77 minutes into the match, Georg Seck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viktor Qvarnström. Norrlands Athen U23's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Seck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Georg Seck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Darius Breitenbach came out of the goal and Per-Oskar Sjögren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bachleiten FSV's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
