With a little luck, Real Madrid C.F.'s Fulgencio Prats got control of the ball when Ragnar Dalgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viktor Qvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertran Navas in the 6th minute of play. Real Madrid C.F.'s Fulgencio Prats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Dalgren in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen U23's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Marques came free, but Viktor Qvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Real Madrid C.F.'s goalkeeper Fulgencio Prats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Oskar Sjögren. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ragnar Dalgren in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulgencio Prats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen U23's Kaj Pålsson got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Kaj Pålsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Prats was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Ragnar Dalgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fulgencio Prats. Ragnar Dalgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid C.F.'s Raymon Doblas got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Dalgren in the 28th minute of play forced Real Madrid C.F.'s goalkeeper Fulgencio Prats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Raymon Doblas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Qvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Joacim Pålsson put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fulgencio Prats. A collision led to Real Madrid C.F. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Raymon Doblas hit a great ball. Real Madrid C.F.'s Fulgencio Prats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Dalgren in the 36th minute of play. Jens-Åke Hedbom charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Åke Hedbom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 42 minutes into the match, Real Madrid C.F.'s goalkeeper Fulgencio Prats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ragnar Dalgren. Ragnar Dalgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Norrlands Athen U23's Ragnar Dalgren got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fulgencio Prats was a little too slow when Ragnar Dalgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Jörgen Källberg kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Norrlands Athen U23's Viktor Qvarnström got control of the ball when Joaquin Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Marques got free with Viktor Qvarnström in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Dalgren in the 64th minute of the match. Xuaco Alacuart's late challenge caught a Norrlands Athen U23's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xuaco Alacuart helped the player get up and apologised. Xuaco Alacuart hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match Joacim Pålsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulgencio Prats skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Real Madrid C.F. booed when Norrlands Athen U23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaj Pålsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Real Madrid C.F.'s Viktor Qvarnström threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xuaco Alacuart, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 75 minutes into the match, Ragnar Dalgren notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Real Madrid C.F.'s Fulgencio Prats. Fulgencio Prats was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fulgencio Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joacim Pålsson in the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ragnar Dalgren in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Prats saved Real Madrid C.F. from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Real Madrid C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Per-Oskar Sjögren came free, but Fulgencio Prats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viktor Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertran Navas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Dalgren in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Norrlands Athen U23's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Raymon Doblas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fulgencio Prats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Dalgren in the 95th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Ragnar Dalgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Prats was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Many of Real Madrid C.F.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Real Madrid C.F. may have spent more time on the ball, but Norrlands Athen U23 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
