In the 7th minute Andoni Antunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Huemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tipi Alarcon came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Peña Bufanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tipi Alarcon couldn't finish the play. Jorge Herrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leoiar Arozamena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Aureliano Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as U.A Sparta's Leoiar Arozamena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aureliano Abancens. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. 21 minutes into the game, Claudio March was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peña Bufanda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U.A Sparta the free kick. After 21 played minutes Peña Bufanda got a freekick which was hit by Claudio March. In the 23rdth minute of the game Jorge Herrea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peña Bufanda's Aureliano Abancens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Innocenzio Reyes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Abancens was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Aureliano Abancens made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Leoiar Arozamena sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Peña Bufanda's goalkeeper Aureliano Abancens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leoiar Arozamena. Jorge Herrea was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 35th minute, Jorge Herrea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santos Fraile kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Pacorro Mayol took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adan Huemen. U.A Sparta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jorge Herrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Jorge Herrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Abancens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andoni Antunez was the one to do the kick off. Andoni Antunez struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Adan Huemen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peña Bufanda. Tipi Alarcon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Adan Huemen made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Leoiar Arozamena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Abancens was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Leoiar Arozamena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Abancens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Panfilo Galli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adan Huemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andoni Antunez in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, U.A Sparta's Innocenzio Reyes got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andoni Antunez in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adan Huemen saved U.A Sparta from getting behind. Leoiar Arozamena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Aureliano Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leoiar Arozamena came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the U.A Sparta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leoiar Arozamena couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Peña Bufanda booed when U.A Sparta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Lariz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Daniel Gómez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Peña Bufanda players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented U.A Sparta from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
