Sascha Heinold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kagai Oduor in the 8th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Achim Ustorf notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of sofapaka's Oginga Birir. Oginga Birir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Pinches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oginga Birir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilja Kampeter in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Patrick Chemjor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sascha Heinold was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Florian Onken in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oginga Birir, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Patrick Chemjor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Wainaina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes SC Villip got a freekick which was hit by Florian Onken. If David Pinches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achim Ustorf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Oginga Birir made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Kagai Oduor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sascha Heinold was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Chemjor made a kick off. Oginga Birir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Onken in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, sofapaka's goal looked a bit too open when Achim Ustorf came free, but Oginga Birir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of sofapaka booed when SC Villip was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Bachor didn't get a good kick on the ball. sofapaka's Oginga Birir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Onken in the 60th minute of play. Oginga Birir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achim Ustorf in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of sofapaka booed when SC Villip was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Onken didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Randy Kiener sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oginga Birir skillfully saved the ball. Sascha Heinold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Pinches in the 74th minute of play. When Kevin Nduro came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the sofapaka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Nduro couldn't finish the play. SC Villip's Sascha Heinold proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save SC Villip from getting a goal against them. Patrick Chemjor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SC Villip getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Felix Patrzek hit a great ball. Achim Ustorf took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oginga Birir. Oginga Birir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Onken in the 88th minute of play forced sofapaka's goalkeeper Oginga Birir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bobby Damji Pattni's late challenge caught a SC Villip's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bobby Damji Pattni helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, sofapaka's Bobby Damji Pattni got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 92 minutes of play, SC Villip's Achim Ustorf made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oginga Birir was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Achim Ustorf in the 95th minute of play forced sofapaka's goalkeeper Oginga Birir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. sofapaka's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
