In the 3rd minute, Mehmet Şefik Sacid ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oginga Birir was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Oginga Birir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Nihat Vargın in the 5th minute of play. Eyüp Eyüpoğlu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Chemjor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 8 minute of play. After a rather tough play, sofapaka's Kevin Nduro got a free kick in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the game, one of kutlucafc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 17 minutes, David Pinches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sofapaka's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Pinches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kagai Oduor got free with Eyüp Eyüpoğlu in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kevin Nduro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oginga Birir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melih Taşkesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. sofapaka's Kagai Oduor got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melih Taşkesen succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in sofapaka's zone, Melih Taşkesen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oginga Birir came out of the goal and Melih Taşkesen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Patrick Chemjor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eyüp Eyüpoğlu. That made the score 3-2 in the 36 minute of play. Martin Wainaina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Chemjor in the 47th minute of play forced kutlucafc's goalkeeper Eyüp Eyüpoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
The wind increased when Patrick Chemjor made the kick off in the second half. Yasin Kubilay kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Kagai Oduor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eyüp Eyüpoğlu having to interfere. Oginga Birir was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Arif Nihat Vargın capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arif Nihat Vargın really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. Oginga Birir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melih Taşkesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oginga Birir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Şefik Sacid, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Patrick Chemjor came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the sofapaka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Chemjor couldn't finish the play. Patrick Chemjor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eyüp Eyüpoğlu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Şefik Sacid in the 75th minute of play forced sofapaka's goalkeeper Oginga Birir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If David Pinches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oginga Birir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melih Taşkesen's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After 82 played minutes sofapaka got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Nduro. After 83 played minutes, kutlucafc's Mustafa Yaşar Pakel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oginga Birir came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in kutlucafc reached it. After a defensive mix-up in sofapaka's zone, Atilla Kağan Özpolat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oginga Birir came out of the goal and Atilla Kağan Özpolat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Pinches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eyüp Eyüpoğlu having to interfere. kutlucafc's Eyüp Eyüpoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Wainaina in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to kutlucafc getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Arif Nihat Vargın hit a great ball. David Pinches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 94 played minutes kutlucafc got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Şefik Sacid. After having played for 96 minutes, Patrick Chemjor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sofapaka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Chemjor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. sofapaka walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
