The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Horda BK's Leif Lövgren got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Horda BK's goalkeeper Torsten Blixt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Real Madrid C.F.'s Raymon Doblas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Torsten Blixt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fulgencio Prats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Lövgren in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Johan Christoffersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horda BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Madrid C.F. the free kick. Johan Christoffersson kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Raymon Doblas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Horda BK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Birger Hjortsberg hit a great ball. After 14th play minutes Bertran Navas shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Torsten Blixt and just under the crossbar into goal. Arnau Cartagena's late challenge caught a Horda BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnau Cartagena helped the player get up and apologised. Arnau Cartagena kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Bertran Navas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Prats stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leif Lövgren's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Leif Lövgren put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fulgencio Prats. After having played for 35 minutes, Vincent Snäll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horda BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincent Snäll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Leif Lövgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horda BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Lövgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulgencio Prats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torsten Blixt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertran Navas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes Horda BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raymon Doblas who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Horda BK's goalie and right to Arnau Cartagena. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Horda BK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertran Navas was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Horda BK booed when Real Madrid C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troy Ledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Horda BK's goal looked a bit too open when Bertran Navas came free, but Torsten Blixt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 played minutes Horda BK got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Snäll. The crowd rose to their feet as Horda BK's Leif Lövgren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fulgencio Prats. That made the score 1-2 after 61 minutes of play. In the 64th minute, Joaquin Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torsten Blixt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 69th match minute, Horda BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Prats made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Vincent Snäll sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Marques in the 73rd minute of play forced Horda BK's goalkeeper Torsten Blixt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horda BK's Torsten Blixt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Marques in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Horda BK's zone, Bertran Navas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Blixt came out of the goal and Bertran Navas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Prats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Lövgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 93rdth minute of the game Raymon Doblas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horda BK's Torsten Blixt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
