Torsten Blixt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kagai Oduor, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Oginga Birir was a little too slow when Leif Lövgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. sofapaka were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Horda BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patrick Chemjor took the corner. 24 minutes into the game, Martin Wainaina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Torsten Blixt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Leif Lövgren came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Horda BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leif Lövgren couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Horda BK's Kalle Biörling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oginga Birir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Patrick Chemjor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Blixt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Chemjor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Blixt having to interfere. Oginga Birir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Lövgren in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, David Pinches managed to get in a good position for a shot. sofapaka's supporters rose to their feet, but David Pinches was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Blixt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrick Chemjor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Blixt was a little too slow when David Pinches got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 5-2. 66 minutes into the game, sofapaka's Kagai Oduor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Blixt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. William Kirui took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Blixt. Torsten Blixt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leif Lövgren during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leif Lövgren hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Horda BK's zone, Kagai Oduor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Blixt came out of the goal and Kagai Oduor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to sofapaka getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Waruhiu Sitienei hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Leif Lövgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oginga Birir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. sofapaka's William Kirui got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan-Olof Winström tried in the game's 90th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Torsten Blixt. An annoying self made goal, 6-5. The Horda BK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
