Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Melih Taşkesen got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Norrlands Athen U23's zone, Mehmet Şefik Sacid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Qvarnström came out of the goal and Mehmet Şefik Sacid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 4 played minutes Norrlands Athen U23 got a freekick which was hit by Olle Giöck. Arif Nihat Vargın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eyüp Eyüpoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Dalgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Şefik Sacid scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viktor Qvarnström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 17 played minutes Norrlands Athen U23 got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Hedbom. Viktor Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melih Taşkesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ragnar Dalgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eyüp Eyüpoğlu having to interfere. In the 28th minute Mehmet Şefik Sacid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Qvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen U23's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Kağan Özpolat came free, but Viktor Qvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joacim Pålsson took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eyüp Eyüpoğlu. Eyüp Eyüpoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 37th minute, kutlucafc's Yasin Kubilay seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Yasin Kubilay the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of kutlucafc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yasin Kubilay had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of kutlucafc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Norrlands Athen U23:s goal. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, Norrlands Athen U23's Joacim Pålsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eyüp Eyüpoğlu. Eyüp Eyüpoğlu came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen U23's Ragnar Dalgren. But to his dismay, Ragnar Dalgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. 46 minutes into the match, kutlucafc's goalkeeper Eyüp Eyüpoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ragnar Dalgren. The crowd rose to their feet as Ragnar Dalgren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eyüp Eyüpoğlu. That made the score 4-3 in the 48 minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ragnar Dalgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olle Giöck kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 66 played minutes kutlucafc got a freekick which was hit by Arif Nihat Vargın. Eyüp Eyüpoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joacim Pålsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arif Nihat Vargın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Mehmet Şefik Sacid recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viktor Qvarnström. Mehmet Şefik Sacid showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-4. When Joacim Pålsson came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Norrlands Athen U23 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joacim Pålsson couldn't finish the play. When Norrlands Athen U23's Ragnar Dalgren in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner was taken by Joacim Pålsson in the 81st minute. After taking down the ball on Norrlands Athen U23's corner Ragnar Dalgren fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eyüp Eyüpoğlu quite easily take care of the ball. If Ragnar Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind kutlucafc's goalkeeper Eyüp Eyüpoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Mehmet Şefik Sacid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the kutlucafc and the Norrlands Athen U23 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Mehmet Şefik Sacid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Şefik Sacid kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Viktor Qvarnström made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Arif Nihat Vargın sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the game, Jens-Åke Hedbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norrlands Athen U23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave kutlucafc the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ragnar Dalgren in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eyüp Eyüpoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Mehmet Şefik Sacid came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the kutlucafc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Şefik Sacid couldn't finish the play. The supporters of kutlucafc booed when Norrlands Athen U23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olle Giöck didn't get a good kick on the ball.
