Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) U21 Netherlands's Ed Seinstra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Waclaw Poremba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Netherlands's Mirko Vervoort was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute Ruud Geels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Oldenborger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frits Andriessen hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, U21 Netherlands's Ed Seinstra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Oldenborger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ed Seinstra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Peter Oldenborger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Montana couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Erik Salens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mirko Vervoort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenik Hoffhuis in the 85th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes U21 Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Ruud Geels. Olaf Degens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Vervoort having to interfere. Peter Oldenborger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud Geels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Ruud Geels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Peter Oldenborger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Montana in the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes BelieveInYoungsters got a freekick which was hit by Sjoerd Brandsma.
