An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurek Ohrem in the 8th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes SV Bad Harzburg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Song Xiong Hong who took care of the corner kick. Chico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Elzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The SV Bad Harzburg fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 17 minutes, Olivier Gilg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olivier Gilg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Éthan Pichard might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chico Donato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Éthan Pichard ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Hermann Viapiano came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurek Ohrem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Olivier Gilg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacek Matuch, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Gilg in the 30th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jurek Ohrem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niculae Martinescu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save SV Bad Harzburg from getting a goal against them. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivier Gilg in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Olivier Gilg came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivier Gilg in the 47th minute of play. Éthan Pichard kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Roberto Lopes came free with the goalkeeper in the 49th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacek Matuch could save by the left post. After 50 minutes SV Bad Harzburg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Song Xiong Hong who took care of the corner kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olivier Gilg hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when SV Bad Harzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Elzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chico Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurek Ohrem in the 61st minute of the match. Chico Donato made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Teodor Covaci sent off a good shot on target. Roberto Lopes might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacek Matuch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Lopes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute, Song Xiong Hong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacek Matuch was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After having played for 68 minutes, Roberto Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Roberto Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Song Xiong Hong came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a corner. SV Bad Harzburg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Song Xiong Hong ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Mark Elzer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chico Donato. That made the score 3-2 in the 83 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Mark Elzer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Donato was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurek Ohrem in the 91st minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SV Bad Harzburg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Éthan Pichard in the 92nd minute. The corner ended in Jurek Ohrem almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato did a great save. Jurek Ohrem scored 3-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chico Donato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 98 minutes into the match, Mark Elzer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Donato. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Elzer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. SV Bad Harzburg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
