Qiao Si Chao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okan Koc in the 4th minute of play. Qiao Si Chao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okan Koc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Ming Sheng came free, but Qiao Si Chao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Panait in the 14th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Qiao Si Chao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Crețu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petro Shenaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabian Vato to maneuver through the defense. Qiao Si Chao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Panait in the 19th minute of play. Qiao Si Chao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Panait in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Milan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Virgil Oargă was slow to take the kick. During this time Stiinta-Univ.'s players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okan Koc in the 31st minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Qiao Si Chao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Okan Koc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stiinta-Univ. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Shi Ming Sheng took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Qiao Si Chao. Qiao Si Chao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 48th minute, Okan Koc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stiinta-Univ. made a substitution. Valeriu Morovan replaced Okan Koc. Stiinta-Univ. made a substitution. Șerban Rușanu replaced Virgil Oargă. A collision led to Stiinta-Univ. getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Okan Koc hit a great ball. After the first half Stiinta-Univ. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valeriu Morovan made a kick off. Qiao Si Chao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shi Ming Sheng's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Valeriu Morovan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Qiao Si Chao. The goal made the score 0-4. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Gacek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petro Shenaj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Crețu having to interfere. Bela Droga kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Qiao Si Chao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Panait, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Martin Crețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabian Vato in the 69th minute of the match. AC Milan's Qiao Si Chao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. Qiao Si Chao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Panait, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Shi Ming Sheng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Shi Ming Sheng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Qiao Si Chao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shi Ming Sheng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qiao Si Chao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Fuat Mançellari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stiinta-Univ. the free kick. After 80 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Fuat Mançellari. Shi Ming Sheng kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Valeriu Morovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Sabian Vato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Milan's Qiao Si Chao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Morovan in the 93rd minute of play. Qiao Si Chao made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Valeriu Morovan sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Lavdi Eminaj got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martin Crețu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stiinta-Univ. played a much better game than AC Milan and deserved their victory. The AC Milan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
