Hipólito Figueira came out of the goal and Bel Taylor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Joaquim Baía managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceuta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Baía was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bantry Prunty breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adão Rodrigues in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bantry Prunty prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis McTom during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bantry Prunty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adão Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adão Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raleagh AFC's Bantry Prunty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilário Diegues in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Raleagh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis McTom to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adão Rodrigues in the 21st minute of play forced Raleagh AFC's goalkeeper Bantry Prunty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes Raleagh AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joaquim Baía who took care of the corner kick. In the 25th minute Hilário Diegues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bantry Prunty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Raleagh AFC defense, Hilário Diegues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bantry Prunty. The Raleagh AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bantry Prunty should have stopped the shot. In the 37th match minute, Raleagh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Briony Mulvihill to maneuver through the defense. After 39 minutes of play, Ceuta FC's Adão Rodrigues made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bantry Prunty was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dennis McTom kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Raleagh AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adão Rodrigues came free, but Bantry Prunty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eoghan Lavine made a kick off. In the 54th minute Hilário Diegues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bantry Prunty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bantry Prunty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermes Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Bantry Prunty made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Adão Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. Rúben Mourão hit a great ball. With a little luck, Raleagh AFC's Bantry Prunty got control of the ball when Hilário Diegues tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Ceuta FC's Adão Rodrigues ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bantry Prunty. Bantry Prunty yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8.
