The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guarimanzal SC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Linhares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Raleagh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rourke Molloy to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Eoghan Lavine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guarimanzal SC's Dagoberto Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eoghan Lavine in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Bel Taylor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raleagh AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bel Taylor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Murilo Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bantry Prunty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Bel Taylor could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Dagoberto Linhares however easily saved by the left post. Guarimanzal SC's Dagoberto Linhares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Guarimanzal SC from getting a goal against them. Briony Mulvihill charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 58 minutes, Bel Taylor made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Guarimanzal SC's Dagoberto Linhares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the game, Raleagh AFC's Bel Taylor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dagoberto Linhares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 66th minute, Bel Taylor made a precise shot to the right of Dagoberto Linhares. Guarimanzal SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Dagoberto Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eoghan Lavine in the 73rd minute of the match. When Raleagh AFC's Bel Taylor in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guarimanzal SC's goalie prevented a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Rourke Molloy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dagoberto Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eoghan Lavine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Eoghan Lavine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dagoberto Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vitório de Barros hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Bel Taylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis McTom hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Albertinho Magalhães came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bantry Prunty could save by the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, Raleagh AFC could leave the field as winners, despite Guarimanzal SC having more of the ball for most of the match.
